Fayette County Public Schools may use NTI (non-traditional instruction) in place of traditional closings or delays because of severe weather. We hope this allows students to continue learning online when the weather makes it unsafe to attend school in person. This option also lets us avoid extending the school year to make up for weather-related cancellations.
- Teachers will post asynchronous assignment(s) on Canvas that review content. No new content will be taught.
- All teachers have posted a Google Meet link that is easily accessible to students, so they can log on during office hours if they need assistance.
- Office hours (student support) are 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Students will be able to meet with their teachers virtually during this time.
- To receive attendance credit for an NTI day, scholars must complete their assigned tasks. Students have three (3) school days from the date of our return to submit these assignments to their teachers. Completion of this work serves as the official verification of attendance for the instructional day.
